Rent Registry

As part of the changes to the Apartment Rent Ordinance, the City Council directed staff to implement a rent registry, which will require Apartment Owners to enter vital information about the apartments, amenities, and rent levels into a database on an annual basis. This registry will track the accumulation of unused rent increases available to the owner in any given year. Compliance with the rent registry will be required to issue rent increases. 

More information on this rent registry will be provided as it becomes available. Staff anticipates that the registry will include an online data entry component.
