Hello Community Leaders,
It is that time of year again! We are looking for volunteers to take part in our Great American Litter Pick Up event taking place on April 21, 2018. The Great American Litter Pick Up is a great opportunity for community leaders to come together for a day of work and enjoyment picking up litter throughout their community. Event activities will include a “Kick Off” of the event at each of the meeting locations hosted by the District 5 Team.
This year we will have 4 central locations to choose from:
We will be meeting up at 8:30 am for registration and a light breakfast. Registering ahead of time is highly recommended as this will ensure we have enough food for everyone.
The District 5 office will once again be holding a friendly competition among our neighborhood associations to encourage them to come out as a neighborhood and help clean up their community. The neighborhood association that has the highest number of registered participants will be recognized by the District 5 office as the Great American Litter Pick Up Neighborhood Association of the Year 2018! Your neighborhood will receive a commendation as a Thank You for your commitment to our community.
