David (pronounced dah-VEED) Albán Hidalgo serves as a Technology and Innovation Analyst/Stanford Public Interest Network (SPIN) Fellow. He brings a range of technical experiences including software development, user-design/prototyping, and data management/visualization through an internship at Microsoft’s .NETCoreFX team and various academic projects. Some projects include managing/organizing hundreds of hours of oral history interviews of undocumented Mexican interviews, creating data bases/geographic visualizations of music-based migrant organizations in Buenos Aires, and helping design and prototype an app facilitating parent-teacher communication for preschool students.
David holds a BA with Honors, a BS, and an MA from Stanford University. Originally from Quito, Ecuador he speaks Spanish natively and Quechua and French at conversational levels.
