Census 2020

The United States 2020 Census

When you respond, we all benefit.

Answer Online, by Mail or Phone

Look for a postcard from the U.S. Census Bureau with instructions in Mid-March.

Your participation matters for yourself, your family, and your community!

Completing the census questionnaire makes a difference for the next ten years. Help ensure our community will have improved access to housing, healthcare, schools, community programs, transportation, and government representation by completing the census questionnaire. Include everyone living and sleeping in your home on your census questionnaire — regardless of age, gender, relationship to you, or citizenship/immigration status.

The 2020 census is your chance to make your voice heard. The Constitution ensures equal representation for all by empowering the people of America through the census process: the counting of everyone living in the United States every ten years.  Make sure everyone in your household is counted in the census.

If you don’t complete the census in April 2020,
a census worker will visit your home to make sure everyone is counted. Census workers will be out in our community starting in May 2020. Every census worker will have an ID badge, with their photograph, a U.S. Department of Commerce watermark. Census workers will NEVER ASK FOR YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, BANK ACCOUNT OR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. Census workers will not ask you for money/donation or contact you on behalf of a political party.
