The project consists of a General Plan Amendment to change the Land Use Designation from Light Industrial to Transit Residential, Planned Development Rezoning from the HI Heavy Industrial Zoning District to the A(PD) Planned Development Zoning District, and Planned Development Permit to demolish all existing structures and buildings on and to construct 1) a seven-story (95 feet) building with up to 290 residential units and up to 54,000 square feet of ground floor office space or 2) an eight-story (82 feet) building with up to 290 residential units and up to 37,000 square feet of office space.
