Monetary donations for medical care help our shelter animals the most!  However, we usually appreciate receiving newspapers to line our cat cages and "used" towels and blankets for our kennels   Donated pet food, toys or beds will not be used for our shelter animals but will be donated to pets of homeless and low-income residents .

Please bring donated items inside our lobby during business hours. The City of San José Animal Care Center is located at 2750 Monterey Road (cross of Umbarger).
