A Long-Term Plan for Parks, Recreation Facilities, and Services

WHAT IS THE GREENPRINT?

The Greenprint is a long-term strategic plan that guides the future expansion of San José's parks, recreation facilities and community services. The City is undertaking a major update of its existing Greenprint. The process will involve extensive public engagement and is expected to take approximately 12-18 months.

On February 7, 2017, City Council received a status report on the Greenprint update.
For more background, read the June 1, 2016 Parks and Recreation Commission
memo and presentation.
