Mayor's Gang Prevention Task Force- 2008 Restructure

The Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force (MGPTF) has a long, and proven history of being successful.  This past year, I have learned that the main reason for the Task Force’s success is collaboration.  The Task Force is able to be effective because we bring people from every aspect of the gang problem together, at one table and with one common goal: to reclaim our youth. To increase collaboration between all stakeholders, I have set forward a new structure for the Task Force. The links below will provide more detail on how I see this new restructuring being implemented in 2008.
