Mayor Reed delivered the annual State of the City Address during the 2009 Community Breakfast. The event was emcee'd by Dr. Emmett Carson, CEO & President of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, and Teresa Alvarado, Executive Director of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. Remarks were also given by Jon Talbert, Beautiful Day, and Tom Werner, CEO of SunPower. The event featured the recognition of outstanding community groups and City employees.
