Mayor Reed joined local leaders and downtown shoppers to the grand opening of “The Market by Safeway”. The 24,000 square-foot, upscale grocery store is located on the ground-floor of The 88 high-rise condominium. The event also coincided with the opening of the Central Place Parking Garage, which is connected to the grocery market and offers more than 300 additional spaces of downtown parking.
