The Mexican Heritage Plaza Steering Committee is responsible for the development of a sustainable business model for the Mexican Heritage Plaza, with the overarching vision of making the Plaza a community arts and cultural center. The business plan will address the organizational structure, governance model, program design, and fund development plan for the MHP.

The Mexican Heritage Plaza Steering Committee will meet the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 – 8:30pm, alternating between the lunch hour and after work hours. Unless otherwise advised, the Committee will meet at the Plaza in the Theatre Lobby. The date, time and location of the meetings will be posted on the Master Calendar, the Clerk’s website and the MHP website. The agenda for the subsequent meeting will be available here on the website, as well as in hard copy on the City Clerk’s Brown Act Board and in the marquis at the Plaza, one week prior to each meeting. The previous meeting's summary will be posted within 10 days on the website.
