The Planning Director's action on these agenda items is final when the permit is signed and mailed, unless the permit is appealed.  The Planning Director's actions are appealable in accordance with the requirements of Title 20 0f the Municipal Zoning Code.

1. Deferrals

Any item scheduled for hearing this evening for which deferral is being requested will be taken out of order to be heard first on the matter of deferral. A list of Staff-recommended deferrals is available on the Press Table.     Recommend: Approval.

  2. SP03-053. Special Use Permit to construct a detached garage in an alternative tandem configuration to an existing single-family detached residence on a 0.15 gross site in the R-1-8 Single-Family Residence Zoning District, located at/on the north side of Fairview Avenue and approximately 173 feet westerly of Alberta Avenue (1055 FAIRVIEW AV) (Berner William J And Virginia M, Owner). Council District 6. SNI: None. CEQA: Exempt.

    Recommend: Approval.

  1. SP04-002. Special Use Permit to construct an 872 square foot accessory structure in addition to an existing 805 square foot detached garage for an existing single family detached residence on a 0.29 gross acre site in the R-1-8 Single-Family Residence Zoning District, located at/on the south side of Randol Avenue approximately 200 feet northeasterly of Park Avenue (1354 RANDOL AV) (Samson Janet L Et Al, Jason Samson, Owner).   2. SP04-003. Special Use Permit to construct a new single family residence with an alternative parking design (tandem garage) on a 0.11 gross acre site in the R-2 Two-Family Residence Zoning District, located on the north side of Schiele Avenue approximately 490 feet south of Stockton Avenue (Cimolino David L And Alana M, Owner). Council District 6. SNI: None. CEQA: Exempt. Deferred from 2/11/04.

    Recommend: Approval.

  3. PDA97-021-02. Planned Development Permit Amendment to construct a 1,000 square foot cabana (accessory structure) behind an existing single-family detached residence on a 0.55 gross acre site in the A(PD) Planned Development Zoning District, located at/on the northwest corner of Beaumont Canyon Drive and Foxtail Court (5360 Beaumont Canyon Dr) (Schoene Lloyd R And Marites I, Owner). Council District 8. SNI: None. CEQA: Exempt.

    Recommend: Approval.

  4. SP03-055. Special Use Permit to legalize an existing 289 square foot accessory structure at an existing single-family detached residence on a 0.12 gross acre site in the R-2 Two-Family Residence Zoning District, located at/on the west side of North 15th Street approximately 200 feet northerly of Jackson Street (617 N 15TH ST) (Allan S.   5. SF03-032. Single Family House Permit to construct one 2,714 square-foot 2-story single family detached residence on a 0.13 gross acre site in the R-1-8 Single-Family Residence Zoning District, located at/on the east side of Plaza Drive approximately 400 feet northerly of Coe Avenue (APN: 264-52-097) (Charles R.De Rose, Owner/Developer).   6. PDA84-061-02. Planned Development Permit Amendment to allow modification of the design of a previously approved, approximately 1,168 square foot accessory structure, on an existing 0.46 gross acre single-family lot. in the A(PD) Planned Development Zoning District, located at/on the East side of Lupton Avenue approximately 420 feet northerly of Glenwood Avenue (1500 LUPTON AV) (Fair Jacob N And Annetta S Trustee, Owner).
