Determining your Zoning
The zoning designation for property in San Jose may be obtained in any one of the following ways:
- On-Line: access the Zoning page of this website to retrieve the zoning map in Adobe Acrobat .pdf file format.
- Telephone: contact the Planning Divisions 10:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to Noon Friday. at (408) 535-3555.
- In-Person: visit the Planning Divisions at the Development Services Center of City Hall, 200 East Santa Clara Street, during the counter hours specified above.
If calling or visiting the Planning Divisions, please be prepared to provide the street address or Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) of the property for which you are seeking zoning information. The APN can be found on either your property tax bill or on the Santa Clara County Assessor's website at www.sccgov.org/portal/site/asr. |
