Development Activity Highlights and Five-Year Forecast

The Development Activity Highlights and Five-Year Forecast is a report issued annually by the Department of Planning, Building and Code Enforcement. The report serves several functions. First, the report assists the Office of the City Manager in estimating future construction-related tax revenues that generate funds for the City's Capital Improvement Program. Second, the report provides City policymakers and staff with key data for periodic assessment of the rate, type, and location of development activity in San Jose. Lastly, the report is a tool for distributing information on major development projects to the general public. (Note: 10.5 MB file).
