Design Guidelines

Listed below are a series of guidelines prepared by the Planning Division and adopted by the City Council to assist those persons involved in the design, construction, review and approval of development in San Jose. These guidelines seek to provide a common understanding of the minimum design standards to be applied to various land uses, development types, and locations in order to ensure that the review process can be conducted in as efficient a manner as possible.
