Hearing Dates in 2008 for General Plan Amendments
Proposed hearing dates are scheduled to be discussed on January 9, 2008 at the City Council Rules and Open Government Committee Meeting
The time and location are as follows:
Tuesday, January 9, 2008 - 2:00 p.m.

On December 12, 2007, the City Council Rules and Open Government Committee discussed upcoming General Plan hearing dates. The Committee members voted to defer action on the item to their January 9th meeting. Planning staff is recommending a March 18, 2008 (Winter) evening City Council General Plan hearing for General Plan amendments that do not involve the conversion of employment land to non-employment uses, do not involve modifications to the Urban Growth Boundary, or do not involve expansion of the Urban Service Area. Planning staff also recommends a April/May (Spring) hearing for the evening of April 22, 2008 continued to May 6, 2008 and continued to May 20, 2008 for General Plan amendments that may involve the conversion of employment land to non-employment uses, or involve modifications to the Urban Growth Boundary, or involve expansion of the Urban Service Area.
