BACKGROUND

The Housing Element Update reviews the City's housing policies and programs to demonstrate their effectiveness in furthering the housing goals of the City.

PROCESS

• On March 6, 2003, the State Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) concluded that the revised Housing Element met the statutory requirements.

• The City Council adopted the revised Housing Element Update on April 15, 2003.
