Envision San Jose 2040 Land Use Diagram - Google Maps
Click on the various Planning Areas in the citywide map below to open a new browser window with Google Maps.
Please note: some of the Land Use Designation files are large and may take a while to appear on your screen. If you are using Internet Explorer you may see a pop-up window asking if you want to, "Stop running this script", click "No" to allow the Land Use Designation file to continue to open. You may find that the maps load faster when using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
Once the Land Use Designations layers open you should be able to pan and zoom around the map and click on different areas to learn their Land Use Designations. You can also search for a specific property by entering an address in the the "Search Maps" box.
The Envision 2040 General Plan includes Special Land Use Designations and Overlays that are applied "over" underlying land use designations to provide additional information about the uses supported by the General Plan for specific properties.
