Basketball

Co-ed Youth Basketball -- Open Gym
FREE! Open Gym for boys and girls ages 11-17
Fridays 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm


Co-ed Basketball League
This basketball league is a win-win program for 5-12 year olds. Participation, fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship are emphasized. There will be a coaches meeting at Camden Community Center on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. League duration is 7 meetings.Teams will be selected randomly. End of the league party includes food, drinks, and awards for players and coaches only.

Cost: $53
Schedule: Saturdays, 1/26/08 through 3/15/08.(No meeting 2/9)
Meeting time (by age):
5-6 yrs: 9:45 am - 11:00 am
7-8 yrs: 11:15 am - 12:30 pm
9-10 yrs: 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm
11-12 yrs: 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm
Clinic times are for January 26th only.

Teen Basketball League
Come join Camden Youth Center's team to play in the inner-city teen basketball league. We practice and play games after school on weekdays against other Youth Centers in the City of San Jose. Come learn valuable basketball and life skills as we take it all the way to the Championship this year! For more information, call Mario Day at 408-559-7542.
Who: Middle School and High Schools students
When: Mid March through May 2008.
Cost: Free with CYC card

Flag Football

Camden Coed Middle and High School Team
Come be part of the Caden Youth Center Flag Football team and help us win the Inner-City Teen Flag Football Leqague Campionship! We are looling for middle school and high school student to fill out 2 squads. Try outs were held in early September -- but contact us to see if there are openings.

Coed T-Ball League

Tennis

Pee Wee Level: A fun, introductory tennis program for young children. Instruction focuses on play, techniques, and coordination. No experience required. Pee Wee students will need a youth size racket, which can be purchased at most sporting good stores. Session is 6 meetings. Classes meet at Paul Moore Park (corner of Hillsdale and Cherry).

Level 1 and 2:
Learn to play tennis! Basic play, technique, and skills will be emphasized. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, and must provide their own tennis racquet. It is a good idea to bring a full water bottle to each class meeting. Students must bring 2 unopened cans of NEW tennis balls to class. Please note that the class will not be held on rainy days. Session is 6 meetings. Classes meet at Paul Moore Park.
