Community Service Program
The Camden center accepts community service applications from youth between 11 and 17 years old and provides opportunities to do service that is useful and satisfying. When you apply, we’ll give you a realistic estimate of how many hours are available however, we cannot guarantee you will be able to complete all of your hours with us within the time you have to finish.
In cases of court-ordered service, acceptance depends on the severity of the offense. In these cases, parents or probation officers must first meet with center staff to discuss the requirements of service. At this meeting, we discuss duty assignments, behavior and conduct expectations, a reasonable timeline to complete hours, and work schedule. Again, while we try to accommodate your needs, we are not obligated to provide hours once a contract is signed.
Orientation
All orientations are scheduled on the first Wednesday of each month. Location: Camden Community Center, Activity Room A.
