Recreation Leader

Amy has been a Recreation Leader in the City of San Jose since June of 2005, and began at Grace in October of 2005.

She is also Grace’s Food Donations Contact and picks up donations between 9am and 12pm Monday mornings.

Most days, Amy can be found in the milieu at Grace either in a program or at the front desk, dancing and singing, pulling as many smiles and laughs from the members as she possibly can. She loves to make people feel both happy and welcome in the community center.

Amy was born and bred a child of Idaho. She also lived in Delaware for a few years, but has been

Californian for the past 14 years.

She is currently finishing her lower division courses at a local community college, after which she will complete her Bachelor Degree in Psychology at SJSU.
