Therapeutic Specialist
Susan has been part of the therapeutic staff and art therapy team at Grace Community Center since 2006.
Her holistic approach to the well being of others is embedded in a positive perspective on growth and recovery. She believes that mindfulness, positive self-talk, and nurturance of our physical, mental, & spiritual bodies are key in transformation.
In addition to providing individual therapy, and being an advocate for people diagnosed with chemical imbalances, Susan currently facilitates many therapeutic & skill building groups including:
Safe Circle Women’s Group, Open Art Studio, Gardening, Sewing, and Community Meetings.
In the past she has also facilitated: Anger Management, Art Therapy, Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective Symptom Awareness & Management, Children’s Art & Play Therapy, Living with Grace, & Volleyball.
