Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

RSVP was established in 1971 and is now one of the largest senior volunteer organizations in the nation. RSVP engages nearly 450,000 people age 55 and older in a diverse range of volunteer activities. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. RSVP sponsored by the City of San José and the Corporation for National and Community Service. RSVP volunteers serve through non-profit private and public community organizations, such as senior centers, hospitals, schools, museums, libraries, etc. There are no education, experience or income requirements, you just need to be willing to volunteer your time. RSVP covers the following cities: San José, Santa Clara, Campbell, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and Cupertino.Click here for more information about the Corporation for National And Community Service.
