NOTICE OF PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETINGS REGARDING THE RENOVATION OF PELLIER PARK

At the Wednesday, November 15, 2006, Study Session of the Parks and Recreation Commission, the Commission will review the proposed plans to renovate Pellier Park. This meeting will be held at the Alviso Branch Library and Community Center, 5050 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95002. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2006, the Parks and Recreation Commission in conjunction with Historic Landmarks Commission may conduct a joint meeting to approve the design concept plans for the renovation of Pellier Park. This meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in Wing Room W-119 of San Jose’s City Hall, 200 East Santa Clara Street, San Jose, CA 95113.

There will be reasonable opportunity to present written and oral comments on the proposed design for the renovation of Pellier Park, located between Julian and St. James Streets, just east of Highway 87 in San Jos é.
