Parks & Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission advises the City Council on the City's system of parks, playgrounds, recreation centers and facilities, recreation programs, including community sports, plays, celebrations and other recreation activities. Also included are items related to the Citizen's Oversight Committee (COC).

Senior Citizens Commission

The Senior Citizens Commission is composed of fifteen members under the Office on Aging. The members are appointed by the City of San Jose City Council to advise the City on matters of importance to seniors.

Youth Commission

The Youth Commission is the official youth advisory group to the City Council and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services.
