Bill of Rights Proposal

Encouraged by the San Mateo Youth Commission, the San Jose Youth Commission is currently working on a Youth Bill of Rights. This document will outline the fundamental rights that all children and youth should have. The Commission will be working with San Jose youth to create this document.

The San Jose Youth Commission hopes that this document will be adopted by City Council and other organizations in order to demonstrate a unified commitment to the healthy and successful development of youth. Please take a look at our project proposal and a copy of the San Mateo’s Youth Bill of Rights.
