Purpose of the YAC
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) functions as a representative of districts’ diverse youth that advises the Youth Commission and council office on youth-related issues in order to create an empowered, influential voice for youth.
In addition, Youth Advisory Councils may also participate in and host both youth events and service opportunities as well as explore other means of improving and involving the community.
