The
Materials Testing Laboratory (MTL) maintains an
internal quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA)
program which is documented in its comprehensive
Quality Assurance manual. A highly-trained staff
of engineers, construction inspectors, and technicians
perform tests strictly according to the latest test
procedures. All results are documented and reviewed
thoroughly prior to issuance. The lab also maintains
an inventory of testing equipment which receives
regular calibration from certified vendors, as required
by test procedures.
