Neighborhood Parks Projects

Neighborhood parks are essential in building strong communities. Having a park that is both nice in appearance and function becomes welcoming to kids and parents alike. The City of San Jose wants every child to feel welcome in his or her own neighborhood park. We work hard to upgrade existing parks to accommodate today's active child and to build new parks that extend beyond the spectrum of your ordinary every day corner park. The process of building a new park or even to upgrade an existing park is one that the Parks & Recreation Facilities Division is accustomed to. From the conception of a new park, meeting the neighborhoods needs through design and construction and even into the opening of the park, P&RF is there for your neighborhood.
