Welcome to the City’s BidLine. This site is organized as follows:

1. General information on how to do business with the City of San José and the Purchasing Division, including Vendor’s Guide, Local and Small Business preference and the City’s Environmentally Preferable Procurement policy. This information is located under “BidSyncHome” in the left bar area and clicking on appropriate section/link.

2. For City solicitations, click on “Current Bids” link shown below for list of all bid opportunities. See important notes below:

a. Solicitations for services, supplies, equipment materials, information technology and consulting: You must register on-line with BidSync ( http://www.bidsync.com/) and complete “Qualifications for this Agency” if applicable. There is no cost to Vendors to register and participate for City of San José Bids. When you register, it is very important to select all of the commodity codes for the products and/or services that your company sells. If you have any problems registering on-line, please contact BidSync toll-free at (800) 990-9339.
By registering with BidSync you will be recognized as a vendor that is interested in doing business with the City of San José and also have access to bidding opportunities from other public sector agencies.

b. Solicitations for Public Works/Construction/Capital Projects: Follow the instructions on each solicitation. These solicitations are not serviced by BidSync registration.
