The San Jose Redevelopment Agency is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to perform "Handyman" services for a variety of projects at Agency properties. Estimated contract amount is: $35,000.00

"Handyman" services include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Boarding-up Structures (windows, doors, etc.)
2. Property Inspections
3. Janitorial Services
4. Moving and Hauling of various items
5. Landscaping and Weed Abatement
6. Debris and Trash Removal
7. Painting
8. Light Electrical (Bulb replacement and/or repair)
9. Light Plumbing (Toilet & sink repair or replacement)
10. Fence Installations and Repair

Interested firms should include the following information:

• (1) One Hourly rate encompassing all "Handyman" services
  (Prevailing Wage may apply)
• Information about your firm
• Names and phone numbers of three (3) client references
• Insurance certificate which meets Agency requirements:
  -Commercial General Liability: $1,000,000
  -Automobile Liability: $1,000,000
  -Workers Compensation and Employers Liability: $100,000 per accident

Firms located in San Jose are encouraged to apply.

Two copies of the proposals must be submitted on/or before Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 1:00 PM. All materials will be kept by the Agency. The Agency reserves the right to select any contractor based upon the Agency’s determination of the best interests of the Agency, or to not select any contractor.
