Recycled Water Safety & Agriculture

Monterey Wastewater Reclamation Study for Agriculture - Final Report, April 1987

Proceedings of the Fourth International Symposium on Irrigation of Horticultural Crops - ISHS 2004

Recycled Water Food Safety Study for Monterey County Water Recycling Projects - August 1998
Based on these and earlier findings regarding virus removal capability of the tertiary process, it can be concluded that the Monterey County Water Recycling Projects (MCWRP) recycled water is as safe for irrigation of vegetables as are other sources of irrigation water.
