The Vehicle Spotter Program (VSP) is a volunteer partnership between residents and the City of San José to address neighborhood blight from inoperable, stored or abandoned vehicles parked on a public street longer than 72 hours.
VSP Program Benefits:
- Partnership with residents
- Reduce re-inspections of abandoned vehicles
- Sustain 1-2 day initial response time

- Vehicles marked and tagged by abatement officer
- Eligible Vehicles towed by abatement officer

- Complete the VSP training program
- Sign the city’s volunteer agreement
