SERVICES | TREES & LANDSCAPING - WEED ABATEMENT

The City of San Jose's weed abatement program encompasses a proactive approach to maintain a weed free environment. The service currently provides maintenance of undeveloped right of ways, City owned lots, and undeveloped parkland.

Weed abatement is provided by City crews and augmented by contracted services. The Department of Transportation chemically sprays over 16.9 million square feet of right of way and other City parcels. We also tractor disk over 630 acres of City owned parcels.
