Inoperable, stored or abandoned Motor Vehicles in your neighborhood

The Vehicle Abatement Program is managed by the Department of Transportation, On-Street Parking Program.

For vehicles that are parked on the street and :

• have not moved for over 72 hours (3 days)
• expired license plate for over 6 months
• inoperable (missing essential parts like engine, transmission, wheels, windshield)

The recording will ask for:

• your name, address and telephone number
• the license plate number
• the address
• the closest cross street
• the color of the vehicle
• a description of the vehicle

A Parking & Traffic Control Officer will respond to investigate within 48 hours of receipt of the call for service.
