Trees on Multifamily and Business, and & Other Private Property

Multifamily Tree Scene
The Department of Planning, Building and Code Enforcement works with property owners and developers of multifamily and non-residential properties to ensure that trees are planted when new development occurs, that as many existing trees as possible are preserved, and that replacement trees are planted on the site or elsewhere in the community when tree removal is necessary.

Contact the Department of Planning, Building & Code Enforcement at (408) 535-3555 for information about planting, maintaining and removing trees in a multifamily development or on commercial property. The Department of Planning is also currently responsible for most trees on Single Family or Duplex property, except Street Trees.
