This is a commercial district full of mature shade trees, and neatly manicured lawns. The two main entrances to the district include median islands adorned with flowers. These flowers are maintained and changed out three to four times a year. These specific areas include:
• The median islands on Orchard Parkway from North First Street to Trimble Road
• The median islands on Plumeria from Orchard Parkway to North First.

Tree Services

The shade trees in this district include many Yarwood sycamore (Plantanus acerifolia ‘Yarwood’), white Alder (Alnus rhombifolia) and Tulip trees (Liriodendron tulipifera). Tree management services are provided for all trees in the median islands described above. These services include:
• Pruning, planting and removal/replacement
• Fertilization
• Monitoring
• Pest control using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques
