Trees provide valuable benefits to the world around them. If you breathe oxygen to live,  you should be grateful to trees for helping produce oxygen, intercept airborne particulates, and reduce smog - all of which enhance a community’s respiratory health. The urban
tree canopy contributes directly to meeting a city’s regulatory clean air requirements. Access to trees, green spaces, and parks promotes greater physical activity, and reduces stress, while improving the quality of life in our cities and towns. A mature tree can supply enough oxygen for up to four people everyday.
