Kelley Park Rangers Host Inaugural Vietnamese Dream Boat Launch During Last Sunset Walk of 2018

More than 250 residents enjoyed an evening stroll at Kelley Park on Friday, Sept. 14 during the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services last Sunset Walk of the season. The theme was Fortune Cookie Day. Activities included a Happy Hollow Park & Zoo animal presentation, guided tours of the Japanese Friendship Garden, an artistic Vietnamese Dream Boat Launch by artist Robin Lasser and Chopstick Alley, a  reading of Tanabata by the SJ Buddhist Betsuin Girl Scouts, a night sky viewing with astronomers and telescopes, and s'mores around the campfire.
