Meeting Purpose: To introduce the planning process and goals, and to hear from the community about your values and vision for the Eastside Alum Rock Urban Village Plan area.

Comments, concerns, and questions raised at this meeting will become part of the public record and will help inform the project’s design as it moves forward in the review process. There are continued opportunities throughout the planning process to publicly comment on the project as illustrated in the permit process chart
below.

Proposed Project: The Eastside Alum Rock Urban Village Plan will guide future development by encouraging
residential and economic growth and supporting strategies that promote transit use, bicycling, and walking. The
boundaries of the Eastside Alum Rock Urban Village are located along Alum Rock Avenue from Interstate 680 to
Manning Avenue and includes properties on the west side of South Capitol Avenue from Alum Rock Avenue to
approximately Capitol Expressway.
