The Alma Community Center is a safe, welcoming place providing a lunch program for older adults and afterschool supervision for children and youth. At the Youth Center, a drop-in after school program is available for youth ages 6 to 14 and provides homework assistance, arts & crafts, and recreation opportunities. At the Senior Center, we offer a weekday lunch program and other social activities for older adults over the age of 60 and those who are disabled. We also host a number of special cultural and holiday celebrations. 

This reuse facility is 6,372 square feet in size and is in Council District 7.

Programs Offered

City of San José Senior Nutrition Program, in partnership with Bateman Senior Meals, provides meals to Older Adults 60+ at 13 community centers throughout the City. All meals served at community centers meet county health standards.
