Guadalupe River Park Confluence Area Public Life Activation Strategy
The City of San José is looking to further activate the Confluence Area of Guadalupe River Park. This includes the area between West Julian and West Santa Clara Streets, and North Autumn Street and Highway 87. The City has developed recommendations that may include the re-purposing of under-used areas, programming considerations, and layout changes and modifications to park components based on changing demographics, adjacent uses and surrounding development patterns. The Confluence Area has, is and will continue to be a key destination within San José’s “Central Park”, Guadalupe River Park. The City wants to proactively plan for the changes that are coming with new development and residents in the area.
