Fair Swim Center is a multi-pool facility and features zero depth entry pool for toddlers and a large lap pool with a depth of 3.5 feet to 12 feet. The swim center also features a large grass field, picnic area, and multiple shade structures.

    • Mature teens at least 14 years of age may also swim, if accompanied by an adult 18 years or older for the duration of use.
  • Do I have to make a reservation for Lap Swim?
    • Lap Swim is on a first-come, first-served basis and is only offered at the Camden Pool.
  • How do I register for Water Aerobics?
    • Water Aerobics is not available currently.
  • How do I purchase a pass?
    • You can purchase your Punch Pass or Daily Pass at the Camden Community Center front desk Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • What is a Punch Pass?
    • A punch pass for Lap Swim at Camden Pool is a physical card with 10 visits + 1 free bonus visit. Each visit is marked off with a hole puncher.
  • Will Lap Swim be open if it's raining?
    • Yes, Lap Swim at Camden Pool is open rain or shine!
  • Are there lifeguards on duty?
    • Yes, lifeguards will always be on duty at pools at the City of San José Swimming Centers during operating hours.
  • How many people to a lane?
    • Due to varying customer volume, lane sharing may be required with up to two swimmers per lane.
    • By signing in, patrons agree to share lanes with additional swimmers when necessary and move to circle swimming when required.
    • Circle swimming is required when there are more than two swimmers per lane to maintain a safe environment, provide access to swim, and minimize wait times for all participants.
    • Swimmers can use posted lane markers to swim with other swimmers of similar skill levels.
