The bikeway follows the highway and is used primarily for commute purposes. The bikeway includes some on-street travel between Unified Drive and Carol Drive, and along Narvarez Avenue.

CLOSURE

Caltrans will be resurfacing the Hwy 87 Bikeway through July 2. - great news for a smoother, safer ride ahead!
What you need to know:

• Bike path closure between Willow Street and Santa Teresa Blvd
• Closed Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. with weekend work possible
• Detour routes will be in place. Please plan accordingly and follow posted signage

This important project will improve ride quality, safety, and extend the life of the 4.1-mile trail that connects to the Guadalupe River Trail. Please see the schedule of closures below:
