Programs Offered
- Assyrian American Association of San Jose offers community services that cater to the elderly segment of the Assyrian community. A large segment of many Assyrian seniors have language barriers and are in or nearing retirement age. The program offers social engagement and senior empowerment to promote health and wellness through education, enrichment, social gatherings, and exercise. The program also conducts afterschool programs for children to include educational, cultural and art enrichment programs, and educate youth and emigrants with career-building needs in their future goal setting and multi-generation social gatherings.
- Work2future is a federally funded workforce development program that is administered by the City of San José as part of the Office of Economic Development. This program operate its Administration and Business Services Center at Almaden Winery.
