TEAM SAN JOSE WEBSITE SUPPORTS LOCAL BUSINESSES: The new Team San Jose Resource page has launched, featuring a database of nearly 600 San José restaurants open for delivery or take-out, plus gift card options to provide support for neighborhood business now, when it is needed most. The site also highlights virtual attractions, online shops, and creative endeavors. San José travel, tourism and hospitality industry partners can find support information via quick links to important industry resources.

- City Manager Dave Sykes and Los Tigres Del Norte Share the Importance of Staying Home: The City of San José released two public service announcements today urging residents to stay home to stay home to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect the most vulnerable in our community. - Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC): For travelers depending on SJC for essential travel, Economy Lot 1 is closed temporarily to reduce shuttle service and support social distancing. Lot 2 (Terminal A Garage) is available with our reduced Economy Lot 1 rate of $18 per day/max. All other on-site parking lots remain open. - Working Together to Protect People Experiencing Homelessness: The spread of COVID-19 is particularly dangerous for those experiencing homelessness. Individuals without stable housing not only face greater difficulty taking preventative actions, but they are often in poorer health than other residents. In response, the County of Santa Clara, the City of San José, and Continuum of Care Partners are working together to address the needs of homeless individuals. Read about our joint efforts to expand shelter hours and capacity, provide hygiene supplies and facilities, educate unhoused residents about available resources, and prepare for future shelter needs of people experiencing homelessness during the outbreak.
