The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services’ Anti-Litter Program hosted four litter clean-ups on March 16 and 17 with community partners Project Access at the Valley Palms Apartments, Cadillac/Winchester Neighborhood Association in the Cadillac/Winchester neighborhood, South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition at the Vietnamese Heritage Garden, and Saint John Vianney School in the James Lick area. Over 140 volunteers collected 102 bags of litter weighing in at 1.3 tons. Volunteers contribute to the #BeautifySJ Initiative by protecting ecosystems and cleaning up neighborhoods and streets.
