Flood Construction Projects Advance
Through the combined efforts of the Departments of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services and Public Works reconstruction of the Watson Park soccer fields will begin in late spring. This reconstruction is the first of 26 projects that will restore critical PRNS services following the February 2017 flooding of Coyote Creek. Many other projects are in design and bidding phases and work will occur this summer at Olinder Community Center facilities, Happy Hollow Park & Zoo restrooms and the Japanese Friendship Garden. For more information, please contact Nicolle Burnham, PRNS Deputy Director, at (408) 793-5514.
