While many of us are getting ready to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with loved ones, our #SiliconValleyStrongHeroes continue to provide meals for our community.

CityTeam Ministries, Elyse Restaurant and the Vietnamese Seven Day Adventist Church will be distributing hundreds of meals on Thanksgiving day for those in need.

CityTeam Ministries will offer hundreds of hot Thanksgiving meals with critical supplies that our vulnerable neighbors need as the weather changes to near-freezing temperatures. Guests will also receive a pair of warm gloves, a beanie hat, cozy socks and a hygiene kit filled with items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, hand sanitizer and more. This distribution location will be operating as a grab and go system for all that attend.

Elyse Restaurant will be cooking 1,000 meals of turkey wild rice soup and your choice of shrimp fettuccine/roasted turkey stuffed with herbs, creamy mashed potatoes and a side of vegetables. Elyse Restaurant requires participants to register by contacting their team at (408) 899-2762 to request a free meal.

Lastly, the Vietnamese Seven Day Adventist Church will be serving similar traditional Thanksgiving meals consisting of yams, stuffing, green beans with cranberry sauce and turkey. This distribution location will be operating as a drive-thru system for all that attend. Upon arrival, it is required that you stay inside your vehicles at all times.

Hot and ready Thanksgiving meals will be distributed at the following locations. Remember – you are required to wear a face mask and follow all COVID-19 safety protocols.
