#PRNSBEST PLACEMAKING TEAM ”ROCKS” THE EXTENDED WEEKEND TONIGHT

VIVA PARKS NEIGHBORHOOD EVENTS CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAYS WITH RESIDENTS AND THROUGH THE SUMMER!

While some are enjoying a long Independence Day weekend, our #PRNSBest will be hard at work tonight (Monday, July 5) to offer residents a Viva Parks Neighborhood event at Meadowfair Park from 6 p.m. – 8:30 pm. This evening will be filled with family fun, including a 50 foot rock wall, multiple jump houses, arts and crafts activities, a t-shirt giveaway, and free tacos for the first 50 guests.

As individuals continue to receive vaccinations and Santa Clara County restrictions lift, more and more residents are looking for ways to safely enjoy time with their communities and families.

Thanks to the #PRNSBest Placemaking Team, Viva Parks Neighborhood Events are scheduled throughout the summer months and offer families a way to have fun at their local park and connect with others in an outdoor setting.

Viva Parks is a series of free events focused on health and wellness resources, physical activity, and community. They aim to connect people to people, build community pride, transform parks with positive programming, increase park usage, and bring resources to the neighborhood. The #PRNSBest Placemaking Team coordinates these events as well as other city-wide initiatives such as Viva CalleSJ and Viva Parks Downtown events.

Viva Parks Neighborhood Events
Events require face coverings for all individuals to facilitate a safe environment that is comfortable for all guests!

Thank you to our #PRNSBest Placemaking Team for making these events possible and continuing to build community through FUN!

Viva Parks events are offered Monday through Thursday at various park locations from 6 – 8:30 p.m. Special movie night events are offered throughout summer where residents can stay after sunset to watch a movie!
